“Homeostasis” spotlights forgotten places on the edges of Graz, to be precise little woods intersected by motorways. The peculiarities of these micro-ecosystems, particularly the visible and invisible boundaries and lines of movement that shape these territories, are the central aspects of the project. Based on studies, the project creates sculptural and performative installations in these various locations.

The focus will be on processes of learning that confound anthropocentric thinking and that are intended to widen our conception of boundaries and non-boundaries. In conclusion, the reflections on the forgotten places along with the artistic interventions will be documented in the form of a book.
“Homeostasis” is a project by Daily Rhythms Collective in cooperation with Openlab Reininghaus, Studio Magic and guests from the global south.
