wORTwechsel

“wORTwechsel” is a series of events by the Literaturhaus Graz in cooperation with the “ausreißer” wall newspaper and opens doors to everyday worlds and to (seemingly) unknown realms. It shifts familiar perspectives in order to consider aspects of urban life in a new light and to make social changes visible where they begin or end.

Writers and experts examine pressing developments in exposed locations—laundrettes, prisons, vacant shops or community centres. At the same time, they engage with the places and the people who populate them. In conclusion, texts and reflections will be published on a blog and in a special issue of the “ausreißer” wall newspaper.
