Partnering innovative companies based in Graz, the Komödie Graz will elaborate scenes from famous comedies in a double version: on the one hand in the familiar form and, on the other, the way the local high-tech experts think that the same situations will play out in several years’ time.
The discrepancy between today and tomorrow that becomes immediately apparent is not only intended to entertain but also to form the basis for a subsequent discussion between the audience and the representatives of the innovation firms.
This will be a meeting of two worlds, with the performances taking place in the immediate vicinity of the companies, that are mainly based in the 8020 area, in a neighbourhood, that is, that contrasts starkly in many respects with the everyday practice of the high-tech firms in terms of its social and cultural imprint.
