The research project “UNSICHTBARES HANDWERK im ANNENViERTEL” spotlights the individual stories of trade firms in the Gries and Lend districts with the aid of formats including city walks and workshops, considering them in the context of the architectural, social and economic development of these parts of the city.
The aim is to strength the public’s appreciation of the trade professions and design and to raise awareness of their importance for the quality of local services and urban infrastructure.
The project revolves around real-world urban development at the intersection of community work and strengthening local businesses. “Unsichtbares Handwerk” is a cooperation of the Stadtteilprojekt ANNENViERTEL association and Vienna’s Eintagsmuseum.
